The 2.8 kW (3.8 HP) STIHL 2-MIX engine in the STIHL MS 291 petrol chainsaw together with the STIHL 3/8 RM3 saw chain ensures high cutting performance . In order to be able to work as uninterrupted as possible . the chainsaw is equipped with a pre-separation. This removes larger particles before the actual filter. For even longer service intervals. the HD2 air filter can also be retrofitted. which effectively keeps dust away from the chainsaw engine.
